In Genzano di Roma, in the heart of Castelli Romani, the Costantini family has been producing wine since 1721.
Since the family arrived in Genzano, they have started producing wine without ever interrupting the tradition. With their 300 years of activity, they are therefore among the oldest wineries in Castelli Romani and probably in all of Italy.

Cantina Costantini's vineyards are located in Montegiove and Presciano, in the municipalities of Genzano di Roma and Lanuvio. In these areas, the soils are volcanic and mineral-rich and therefore give the wines body. The purpose of the cultivated grapes is to pay tribute to and value the traditions of the area. Malvasia Puntinata, Bellone and Cesanese are of the highest quality and are accompanied by other typically local specialties such as Trebbiano, Montepulciano and Cacchione. The regional domestic heritage is then complemented by international varieties such as Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, which express different characteristics in each production area.

The philosophy behind the wine cellar has always been to protect the family nature of the production. The vinification takes place in the premises of the historic center of Genzano di Roma, using traditional methods and equipment handed down from father to son, but with attention to new production methods.
